Don’t you feel like spring is in the air?

Here in Bonn, Germany, everything is in bloom. And for the last couple of weeks, April lived up to its name and gifted us with the craziest weather one can imagine. Things like sunshine, rain, hail and sunshine again, all within twenty minutes…

With weather conditions like this, a sweet lil’ cardigan like Zeitgeist just comes in handy, don’t you think so?

I’m so glad that this pattern is finally live, as I’m just loving this piece and I’ve been eager to share it with you.

If you’ve been following me here for the last couple of months, you’ve maybe read my previous posts about how this design came to life. If not – you can check back here on the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh step and accompany this design from the birth of the first idea until the pattern release.

Zeitgeist is a topdown, seamless raglan, shaped with short rows for the neckline and subtle increases for a flattering A-line silhouette. A wide band of decorative stitching edges the cuffs and lower hem, and a clean folded hem finishes the front. I-cord bind off adds a pretty, tailored finish.

Zeitgeist is a versatile piece – great with a dress, but just as perfect to toss on over jeans.

I’ve used Malabrigo Sock in colorway “Ochre” for a bright and sunny piece, but this design will look wonderful in a lot of other colors. Have a look at the project list on Ravelry – there are wonderful knits in grey (♥), red and blue!

So, don’t you feel like casting on?

You can get your copy on Ravelry for 4.90 EUR. Enjoy!
